We use the term women\u2019s health to describe medical conditions with sex-specific differences affecting people assigned female at birth and are inclusive of patients with diverse gender identities.<\/p>\n<p>Our goals\u00a0are to enable residents to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Understand and manage medical conditions with sex-specific differences affecting people assigned female at birth.<\/li>\n<li>Acquire competency and expertise in sex- and gender-based women\u2019s health beyond that of a general internist.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in scholarly work including research projects and curriculum development related to sex- and gender-based women\u2019s health.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a mentoring relationship with a faculty expert.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This track is designed to prepare residents to be future leaders in clinical and\/or academic sex- and gender-based women\u2019s health.
